Gear boxes
« on: June 10, 2008, 06:50:00 pm »

Whilst reading the thread on johnson's motors and me loking for a geared motor ,to which Westbourns will be getting a personal :) visit as we are in bournemouth for a couple of days ,enoying the sun ;D .Back to the subject.
I will ask this question there but cay you get a gear box of varying reductions to fit on a johnson type motor rather than buy one complete .
I have a couple of the single reduction sets  in the shed but these are realy crude and basic .

Daz,
Not that I know of now.
You can get "pile" gearboxes which add a known ratio for each unit that is added.
