There are actually three books, all in German, and I haven't read the two I have, because,..
Well they are in German.
I have yet to find a copy of the book by,
Theodor Vieweg ISBN 3-7883-187-2
"Der VSP-Antrieb im Schiffsmodell"
The second by,
Kurt Benz ISBN 3-922414-10-9,
"Der Voith Schneider Propeller als Schiffsmodellantrieb"
Sometimes pops up on e-bay. it has plans for a four blade drive approximately
95mm in diameter with 15mm wide x 47mm long blades.
The third book is on e-bay regularly. MTB Modell-technik-berater - MTB30
"Voith-Schneider-Antrieb im Selbstbau"
by Hubert Bossart/ Eberhard Schulz Isbn 3-88180-374-2
Drawings to build a four blade drive approximately
114mm in diameter, with 20mm wide x 50mm long blades.
Of course once you have the plans, it would be possible to
enlarge or reduce them as you see fit, or as
your skill level and machine tooling allows.
The old graupner 1768 drives are
84mm OA in diameter with five blades approximately 10mm wide x 27mm long.
HT OA 91mm
The new 2002 Graupner 2358 drives are
93mm OA in diameter, and have five blades approximately 17mm wide x 50 mm long
HT OA 155mm
