whats the best way to ballast a static diving sub (revell)
« on: August 02, 2006, 05:19:15 pm »

Anyone know what the best way of ballasting the revell type VII, (or subs in general, never done one before) im going to use Big Daves dive unit in my revell which inflates a bladder to surface it. I'm guessing to sink it to perhaps periscope depth with the bladder deflated so that when inflated it will HOPEFULLY surface. Would i be right in thinking this or if anyone has a better idea i would greatly appreciate it.

I could do a 'How I Ballast a Sub' thread if people are having trouble with doing this.

Seconded! Just ballasted one with 2 more to do shortly. Any additional advice would be most welcome.
