I have always assumed , it appears incorrectly that a crystal was just a crystal . However lately I have noticed reference to single conversion system. What is this all about ? and is it only Hitec Crystals ?

I don't know how or why but
my Hitec sets are Dual conversion and as such I need
to ensure I buy the correct crystals

It seems to be just a Hitec thing or is it.. I have 3 Futabas and have checked the Howes site but the conversion only seems to be Hitec.. I also thought Hitec and Futaba were one of the same.

I also thought Hitec and Futaba were one of the same.

Just noticed on the base of my transmitter "Ripmax" which is who I was thinking about not Hitec as being the same as futuba.
