Tamiya connectors/speed controller Q
« on: June 23, 2008, 01:29:42 pm »

I recently purches 2 MFA 800 motors and they came with tamiya connectors.  I notice most places call them tamiya 7.2v connectors.  Will these be ok with 12v which is what i intend to use.

Im planning on useing 2 Electronize FR15 speed controllers for these motors too.  And probably put 2 fuses in there too.  Would this be ok?

Conventional electric flight wisdom is that they are (Just) acceptable up to 20Amps continuous.
Voltage shouldn't mattter within reason
