Oh No, Mrs Steamboatphil loves submarines, and this one looks just right. Could you put a motor in it with radio (I don't want it to submerge)
That would keep her happy for years (with any luck) and I could do more regatta's

This is going to be my next straight runner for the next event Phil!

..... BTW, I notice you've been quite silent on the fact that at Mayhem at Wicksteed II, in the straight running competition, you were roundly beaten by a a Springer, Yacht, and a Destroyer going ASTERN!!!!   {-) {-)

Thats because I have only just come out of my cupboard of shame. And now with the aid of a wig, dark glasses and false beard I'm ready once again to demo straight running, although there is a lot to be said for straight running springers.......
not to mention backwards destroyers (no really no mention)
Welsh challange getting closer !!!!!

Im upto page 9 on my Gato build so far and its starting to get fiddly but well worth the effort once she is built and running on the surface.

Does anyone have photos of their surface runners?  I've got two kits in the stash & one will undoubtedly have to be built without ballast systgem in order to stay within my 2009 fiscal budget by orders of the Comptroller.  >>:-(
