GAWTHORPE HALL SUMMER FAYRE
« on: July 09, 2008, 06:56:44 pm »

Hi Guys,

Just to let everyone know that I will be at Gawthorpe Hall summer fayre this coming Saturday 12th July, with my collection of ocean liner memoribilia, and will  be banging the NPS drum.
For those of you not familiar with NPS it stands for the Nomadic Preservation Society, and is a group of volunteers and enthusiasts who have rescued the last White Star line vessel in existence, from the breakers yard (Along with help from the Department for Strategic Development in Belfast). "SS Nomadic" is currently undergoing restoration and preservation in Harland & Wollf's yard in Belfast.
I have lot's of membership forms, so will hopefully scare up a few new names.(Just been talking to the organiser and might even get interviewed for Radio Lancashire and the local Burnley station, 2BR).

If anyone is in the Lancashire area this weekend, head on over to Burnley and see us there - the hall alone is well worth the visit - check it out here:-

And pray for sun !!
Cheers everyone,
