those barges look good Jason  :-))
my tug broke today, first time on our new and improved lake since December and the damn gears broke in the first 5 minutes  >>:-( so i wont be towing anything anytime soon   :((

typical springer bully tactics  <*<
 theres a little tug going about its buisness  :-)
 and the next thing the springer which has two barges to push nick's  <:(  it's load and does a runner with all three .
looks nice though  :-)) .

Thanks for the comments on the barges its not a springer it is the same size hull 18inchs by 8inchs the plan for it was in model boats magazine i think a i will be building more barges to tow & push soon i will post pictures

I think "Model Slipway" sell a crane as an individual item. Certainly "Cap Maquettes" do several different cranes, I know because I was in their shop/factory in Nantes, France yesterday!

Hi Jason,  the crane is an Hobby Engine which you can get off the internet or somewhere like Ebay...

Cheers Daz  :-)) The gravel is fish tank gravel sitting on a 1 inch deep trough, tried to make it so the hold looks full?  Just need to make some bollards for the barge now, i was also toying with the idea of fitting a ballast tank with pump to weight it down to the water line for some serious pulling.

Okie dokie my addition to the TUG scene, spent a hour or so sailing with RMASmaster this afternoon was fun towing with my Pollux little things brilliant.
