not the c17, however you're in the right ball park with that.

a clue: boeing c17 replaced the jet.

It's a Lockheed L-300-50A Starlifter, formerly Lockheed's demonstrator, now owned and operated by NASA as the 'Gerard P. Kuiper Airborne Observatory'

The aircraft was withdrawn from service during 1995 and is currently stored NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, California.

Its a dak from the BBMF.

You can blur the photo's in photoshop or if you don't posses enough money or sanity to get photoshop, paint.net is excellent.

Not a lot you can so really on the plane front, its both blurry or both still.

A slightly slower shutter speed... but if you are using a point and shoot digi compact, you cant do that unless its 'high end'.

WRONG.  It's not a Smith Miniplane  :embarrassed:.  I have a strong suspicion that the original designer was from the Southend area and managed to kill himself in one of them :-\.
I am now off for a little Google.

Hurray, got it  ;D ;D - it's a Taylor Monoplane (I hope)  :) and I think I am right in that the designer met his end in one  :'(.
