I am not sure of the port but most of the photos seem to be of Dutch origin, as there is not many
European ports that now take this size of container ship!

Does anyone know if such a steep angle on the towing hawser effects the tug?
It looks like that if it pulls too hard, it could pull the props from the water!

the action of the drives is to "suck down" (squat) which aids pull/push and with the units to the fore end rather than the aft even IF the angle lifted the stern the drive would go deeper and still work.
Problems come when girting and loss of drive towards the side make a few skippers rear ends twitch (and a few Chief Eng) :embarrassed:
