trawlers

Hello, does anyone know if there are any plans available for a model  trawler of this type.
I think it's a beam trawler that only works a few k's of the coast, mainly for prawns in my area.
I'd love to build an r/c type with electric can motor.
The gantry's ropes chains and nets should give plenty of scope for modeling a bit of detail.
Would like something around 800 mm long.
Would like to see if I could make something like this myself
but will consider buying RTR if thats all thats out there.
I havent made any model boats before but feel confident that I can achieve one once I get started (have to start some where)
Have had some experience with balsa model planes
Any input or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
I'm not the youngest builder around so dont expect to do this overnight
just want to get involved to keep me motavated
thanks heaps

Hi Sputnik

Kits are also another option.

Working boats is not my area, but somebody here will help I am sure.

Welcome to the world of Mayhem.

There are lots of options, from plans only, hulls and plans through to full kits. Try some of the links below to see the kind of thing on offer..
