I used to dragrace bikes, quickest time was 8.1s for the quarter mile, but it got to investing silly money and the wife was too worried about the BIG accident.
So gave it up sold the bike and bought-------the fastest road bike at the time
Suzuki Hayabusa, the Ferrari of the bike world. So instead of drag racing I took up top speed runs, closed airfield 2 mile runway (raf Woodbridge in Suffolk) The bikes were phenomenal, that speed was slow compared to some.
Even that has gone now, shoulder reconstruction meant the doc said I can't ride bikes any more, still now I'm 58 I seem to have slowed down some and gone back to a sedentary hobby in my retirement
