Advice please
« on: July 28, 2008, 09:11:10 pm »

Hello all, My 6 year Granddaughter recently visited the tall ships in Liverpool and has now decided she wants to join the Navy. She then came to the pond side when I was testing the Smit Nedelrand, she drove it and was very good at it too. So when she asked if I could build her a Navy ship I didn't say no. Bearing in mind a 6 year old is not going wait for as long as it normally takes me to do anything is there anyhing out there, probably in the ready to run category that might keep her enthusiasm. I think I have seen some on ebay. Does anybody have any experince of them? Thanks and Cheers Graham.

Graham,

Howes (1stopmodelshop) have some RTR warships currently selling at £20 with radio.

Don't know what they are like or how they run but maybe what you are looking for.

Hello Mr Faraday's Cage. Thanks for that info. I had a look and they are from the ebay supplier so I made an impulse buy and I ordered the Destroyer. Well for £20 + £7.50p&p I am not risking too much. I will let you know how it goes. Cheers Graham.  O0
