South Australian Tugs and Warship Pics

Thought I'd post these for any one that may be interested. Warships are RAN I think, sorry if I'm wrong. Tugs are from Adelaide South Australia.

G'Day Fullboat,

Where in Adelaide did you take these pics? Appears that you can get quite close for detail etc.
Any Anzac Class Frigates around...

Hi Martin,
Pics were taken a couple of years ago from the old Birkenhead wharf in Port Adelaide. Now there is (just opened today) a new $178m opening road & rail bridge over the river where these were taken. I'm not sure what an Anzac frigate looks like , will have to google them to see.

Is that close to the wharf where you get the ferry to Kangaroo Island?

Just around the bend from where ferry used to depart. no ferry to KI from port adelaide now ,you have to travel to Cape Jervis these days.
The picture of the ship marked F111 I am pretty sure is an ANZAC Frigate. I reckon its NZ navy not RAN

There was one of the ANZAC frigates in drydock in Henderson, south of Fremantle, a couple of months ago. Got a couple of pics, but will need to resize em before I can post.

strangely enough the leander class frigate F421 is also a Kiwi (NZ) boat....HMNZS Canterbury.
It is currently siting in about 100' of water off the Northland coast as a dive attraction.
The new Canterbury is our sealift ship.

Fullboat,

Do you normally have warships moored there? Swmbo and I are thinking of coming over later this year for the Adelaide Show
