Thanxalot folks.....-*faceturnred*.... never thought that so many remember me after all the senseless posts, jokes, comments.... ::)
Modeling indeed is a good therapy. Just to get my fingers into training I`ve had taken one of my small 1/10 buggies with me, switched the R/C on and done races on my own on the tenniscourt at rehab.
One of the docs asked me, if this is my hobby. I answered him: "Nope, thats a new therapy to do training for my fingers. Turning the knob on the colt-transmitter seems to me more helpfull than 100 therapists who want me to turn nuts on bolts".
Bet you can imagine his face. One week later my therapist explained in the meeting, that my sensitivity in the left hand had become much better. The doc turned around and asked me, if he may have a try with that little buggy. He smashed it twice in the bushes and I told him nicely that this is the slower version of my big-scale-car, doing75 mph.
"Then we should write you this on your daily timesheet", he answered and from that day I had "Sensitivity training" every day on my timetable, from 15.00 til 15.45.
