Shipwreck Required
« on: August 22, 2008, 08:45:54 am »

Ok everyone out there in Mayhem land, I have a show going into production next year and I need a large model shipwreck, or any large model ship around 20-30ft long. I only need it for 1 week, and it will not really be sunk under water (I have tried, the actor luvies just can't breathe !!!) Ideally I would like to borrow one (cos every one has a 30 ft model lying around) or hire one. Failing that I will have to have the set chippies build one (anyone want to buy a 30ft model ship next June !)
We can collect O0
So if anyone knows of anything that might do O0

I would imagine that it would be better to leave it too the set chippies.

Firstly the return transprt cost of a 30ft model would be high. Secondly, you will have the right kind of boat for the era. Thirdly, if the camera guys want to rip bits off/out you can do it as it is yours.

What is the Biplane doing on the rear ?  ::) Other wise I want one, that looks like a whole lot of fun to run around in. What do you have in it for power? Top Speed? and can you use for flying  RC aircraft from?
And oh by the way PPG is Pittsburgh  Paint and Glass, I used to haul plate glass for them all over the country.

PS
I have experienced the two best days in a truck drivers life , the day you bought the truck  O0 and the day you sold the truck O0 and yes it just like owning a full size boat :D.
