When I joined Mayhem in the "good old days" when petrol was less the £1 a litre :'(, I read many of the 'old' posts with great interest.
One of them was from "Boatmadman" on 18/01/2007 about a supplier of decal paper.
Now, not being one to make my boats look anything like 'real' boats, I promptly forgot all about it.
This year, I acquired a new boat (following a naarsty crash) which I though looked a bit like a full size powerboat I had seen on t'internet. I remembered the missive relating to decals and sent off for some.
They worked rather well and wanting to share my joy at the result, put them in for a competition run by Crafty Computer Papers.
The surprising result is that I have won the competition.
http://www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk/pages.asp?purl=decal%20comp2I am not posting this to show off, but to thank members of this forum who often don't realise how their information may help people in many ways (even in years to come)
Cheers all (especially Boatmadman)
