Some more pix from the top-secret 'Operation Graupner'
We planned to place the secret cargo undetected on the Graupner booth right in the middle of the toy fair. An accomplice who wishes to remain unknown, helped us to complete the task and vanish without a trace afterwards....

1. We enter the booth
2. Our accomplice puts away another ship, which had to make room for 'Red-O' while Torsten unveils 'Red-O'
3. getting everything ready
4. close the top and we're ready to go
5. Torsten trying to be inconspicuous

i think i will have to put my 10p worth in on this one... {-)

Aurigarius think about the north and south germans...  {-)

us germans that are in the middle are the loony ones... today is old women day, there allowed to go round and chop your tie of, and smother you in kisses.

but back to the subject, it was great fun in Nurnberg, and i am sure Graupner will remember that for some time to come... then again its all publicity

Ladies day I could suffer...well at my age she might be old and rich, but I cant stand being lashed across the legs by a 6ft 6" bavarian in a corn stook with a tree branch for a whip. Sadistic crews finding "bad boys" for St Nickolas not to give Xmas pressies to.  Berchtesgaden is not the place to be during december

Is no one there who wants to take 'Red O' with him?

If it is not possible to happen in Dortmund, maybe somewhere/someone else?

News from the Red October-Tour.
I took it to the Intermodellbau-Messe in Dortmund (which is the largest Model-Show in Germany)
The great guys from the Peterborough Area Modelboat Club  :-)) put it on display on their stand right between all their beautiful boats.

In the Background of this picture you can see my own little springer-tug, which they put right in the middle of their stand - at the 'center-stage' :-)

My Aurigarius Kit-Springer named Pu(ni)sher.

If it all goes well, Red-O will go from there to belgium. If this won't happen, I will take it back with me and take it some more nice places around Germany before anybody else continues the tour.

So Red October did not go to Belgium. The Belgians there did not seem to know anything about the project and what it is all about and were not very keen on it either. So I took it back home with me. It has a good home here. I feed it regularly and hopefully it will see German waters very soon, before it will continue it's journey so some yet unknown territories.

Hi Umi,

no problem to send Red-O to Holland. But even if I send it today, it is not sure if the parcel would make it in time. It's a bit short noticed :embarrassed:
I would also need a postal address (they didn't mention their address on the website)

We only have a chance to make it in time if I can send it before 3 p.m. today.

Is anyone of the dutch club-members here? I even would be able to meet up with them half way - maybe on the German/Dutch border. But we need a quick decision for that.
