Yup , she is girding her loins in Helsinki for a dash out of the Baltic before it freezes .  Could be heading south of the equator , more when the spy-pigeon gets it`s breath back.  You want a hold of red Bri ?   Goin` somewhere interesting ? :}

Latest intel reports that crew of Red O have mutinied due to wild "wimmin" and potent Finnish "likkor".  The appropriate authority has taken steps to round them up to continue the voyage.  Perhaps the "Auld Alliance" may be re-established Mon Ami.   Carrier pigeon  messages should be more frequent now the the Baltic ice has thawed and the Bad Boy can make a run south. :o O0   South of the equator a bit later.

   I don't recall a build thread but you could look on RCGroups.com in the Dock Talk section of Boats. There is a Springer thread there , some hundreds of pages so it might be hard to find. The builder/owner is Toesup, sometimes comes on Mayhem, maybe Umi will know, she is roughly in that part of USA.  I believe Toes is concentration on photography at the moment.

It was some ferry trip ,as we were the lead ship on a convoy out of St Peterburg but the -26deg was cold.

Latest intelligence report suggests that some of the wild wimmin` that have been "harbouring" Red Oktober have dashed it to the ferryport and stowed it away on a southbound ship.  It looked for shelter with submariners in the former Soviet states of Estonia and Latvia.  Last seen with Viktor at his Riga Airfield base. Believed to be heading south to warmer climes. End

Details of Red O`s departure are as always , sketchy. It seems the the Finnish minder (codename  "Albatros") handed the traveler over to Red Olga at a harbour-side meeting after removal from hiding place in submarine Vesikki.  Ferry to Estonia to visit  submarine Lembit at Seaplane Harbour museum , Tallinn.  Border crossing to friendly ex-pilot and last seen flying south-west to destination unknown....to be continued :police:

Latest intel reports that Red Oktober has indeed re-crossed the North Sea and is now snooping about the Shetland Isles. Photographs from our man on the islands confirm this.  Possible route  or Northlink ferry "Hjatland" ?

...further evidence of intrusion into territorial waters by foreign vessel.  No doubt confused by certain moored ships.  Splinter paint on floatel "San Vitesse"
