Ive managed to get this boat a little further along than the few other projects ive started and never finished (this is my third boat). This one finally got onto the water!!!!!
Still not finished as you can see but unfortunately i've been in hospital with a pretty bad snapped right elbow and fractured left wrist. This has now left me with plenty of time off work (a good two months or so) but pretty much useless for boat building  :(( cant have it both ways i guess. Although randomly i stumbled across the complete first series of the Onedin line on dvd (very much before my time.....im only 29) so im thinking the next project could involve a sail or two.

Hi Larry,  Looking good, but that's a rusty old winch you've got there. Was it in a Skip.

Keep up the excellent work.

Hi all, I have now completed RTTL 2749, started in 1963.  Was a completion of a boat from my youth!  Turned out quite nicely although not perfect.  Now back to Portgarth again - at last.  I am struggling to get the photo that I want to post small enough. How do they do that??  Oh well some people are just cleverer that others!  Happy sailing. Brian

I don't know where to start with my list! Currently in the R&D stages of a 1/128 HMS Hood, but I'm looking at using steam power instead of electric. Then models I'm actually working on are:

Police Launch, using 1 of the hulls I have the moulds for, and taking inspiration from pics of a police launch in portsmouth.
Some sort of open decked rescue boat, a bit like a RNLI RIB, but not actually a RIB, using a different mould I've got.
Non-descript speedboat.
Hooben Perkasa.
Still slowly drilling out the flood vents in my Revell 1/72 Type VII-C U-Boat.

and am also working on a rescue/pond weed clearing boat...

I've currently got on the go -

At 1:12,
45' Watson class lifeboat,
47' Watson lifeboat (if I can get it back)
52' Arun lifeboat,
35'6" Liverpool lifeboat,
Twin Aerokit Solent lifeboats

And two other lifeboats at 1:24 for display only.

In addition, compiling research on future builds of 45'6" Watson, 54' Arun, both types of Oakley lifeboat and a half dozen others. I don't think I'm going to be finished for a long while...

Now that I've got the dining table workshop  :embarrassed: back after Christmas I'm back to restoring my antique Pond Yacht. I could just do with a decent bit of light to get the painting of the hull under-way. This gloomy weather is such a pain!

Just putting the finishing touches to the Ann Letitia then I can finally start my 1/12th Severn that's assuming I can find somewhere to actually build it, most of my work is done on a coffee table or the kitchen floor. And then of course there's all the other models that are almost finished!

Working hard on getting Graupner Neptun on the water. Graupner Lots is slowly been started up and 2 kits from Deans Marine arrived yesterday. My wife is working on finalizing Bluenose II from Billings and she will soon start on Aro-Naut Classic very soon, I will have to do the RC installation so that will be a ½ project.

And looking for a BL set up for my Tom's River

This is from last Saturday at the indore pool. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KxJkCi14eE8
