Just finished my Type 42 HMS Exeter. Possibly not SWA standard but I'm pleased with it.

Currently building four multis, one with a Novarossi .21 on a gearbox, another with a Moki 40 on straight drive, one for an SC .46 (for the girlfriend) and one I have no idea what I want to do with. Also have a Dean's Marine HMS Grenville that I'm finishing off and detailing up, a Revell Gato that I built some years back and never sailed (bought it from Klunk, sold it to Klunk and have just bought it back from - you guessed it), and a Revell 1:72 Type VIIC. Also am just about to make a glassfibre mould of a studio scale Stingray for rc, the plug for which has been made by a colleague.

Odd how after a day at work making models I come home to do the exact same thing...

Liking this thread very much, in awe of that Hairy Andy guy with so many projects on the go at once and here I am still struggling away to get a Deans kit done.... :o  What I mean to say is that it is an inspiring thread, much on Mayhem is inspiring and I'm very glad its here. Makes me feel less of a weirdo when I'm pouring over old pictures thinking "But I don't know if there was a ladder on that side or not!?" {-)

My current build is a Windermere steam launch, I am no good at steam, so electrified.   My son`s is a Triumph Herald amphibian.  These are our `winter projects` and both are coming along nicely.   Pete

I have spent a couple or more hours looking through this thread and cross checking all the builds on here, and firstly I have to say what a wonderful array of models are represented on it.

However, it saddens me that of all those "intended" and "impending" builds, mentioned in all the posts, very few are shown as builds on the forum.

it would be a wealth of information to newcomers in the hobby if these intended models on the slipway were to be detailed as build projects, but sadly hardly any are catalogued and shown as build threads.

are the majority of builders on here afraid of putting their projects out for all to see.

Hi All
Restoring an old IC Japanese Northwind, a little like the English Northwind but with a bunt nose.
Building a Sea Raven which started as a Swordsman with a touch of other Aerokits boat designs added in and my idea of built in spray rails.
Also added a bit of length between frames to take to Lipo batteries.
Started a ALTAS LINES HYDRO, but it's on the back burner as I ordered a few bits and they did not restock these for 6 months.
I did buy a Sea Commander with a small 28mm 750kv motor, removed that and installed a 35mm 1100kv 910 watt motor.
One dam fast cabin cruiser.
The weather is on the up down south, so more time in the shed.

When I get back

HMS Dreadnought to be completed
HMS Prince George to be restarted after a break
A couple of repair jobs on SMS Emden from the Mayhem weekend- yes it has been a while since I've been in the UK!!!

Dad is building Admiralty Train Ferry No 3 or TF3 for short.

Planning an interesting model in 1/48 scale from 1889 and armed with eight 5 inch guns- a true working model from the gunboat era of diplomacy.

From the King of the Unfinished Projects , the oldest ongoing build first=

Darnell T class sub, all built but dive system still not completed after 4 years  stop/start
Restoration/rebuild of a J Class yacht hull discovered 3 years ago on fleabay
Veron 52" Vosper HSL built from the plan, the hull is built, decks on but no systems fitted yet and not saved up enough dosh for the Battlecraft fittings kit yet. Probably because I keep spending it on other projects!
Own design 'scratch build' Ocean Pearl personal submarine, the bodywork is built as is most of the 'chassis' , just still doodling out the dive and propulsion systems.
Two different Springers, all the wood is cut out and some preliminary assembling has been done, but keeping the main build till the winter time to do indoors- - -  I don't do cold sheds any more, slowly getting older so sheds are for warm days only.
A Glynn Guest Destroyer , all wood is cut out and will follow the Springers
Another Glynn Guest design to complement the Destroyer is a Liberty Ship and again will follow the Springers, or maybe get on the stocks first- -who knows!

All these get a little bit of progress now and again, but most of my playtime for the past year has been taken up with rebuilding my BMW K75, it needs a bit of refurb after 102,000 odd miles ( not all by me !!)

Regarding  BFSMP Jim's post, if I put a build thread for all my projects, I fear that some folk might die of boredom while waiting to read of progress!!

                                                Trevor
