With my Chris Craft Triple Cockpit build on hold until the painting season returns, I have been keeping my fingers nimble with the Lady Laura tug kit, now available from Tony Green Steam Models.  I bought this from another Mayhem member who had started it but decided to move it on.  Derek, if you're there, this is how far I have got, and am currently planning the wiring for the lights.  I know tug lights are a tricky subject depending on the era being modelled, the type and length of tow and probably what the skipper had for breakfast, but I am plumping for a representative set to use when we have one of our evening sails rather than a strictly accurate light set.  Apologies to the purists.

This kit is certainly well provided with little bits, there are scores of them, mostly white metal.  Should keep me out of trouble for most of the winter!

Haven't done much lately but have made some progress on my Fairey River Cruiser and Huntress.

Currently tinkering with a vintage Mustang model. The struggle is real.

Got sidetracked by a operation and a small project of a 1/10 BRDM-2 amphibious armoured scout car.
Build log will follow, still struggling to get it watertight, it appears that the designer has uploaded the stl files that is adjusted for his specific printer and material, so the axels diameter was to small causing water to slip past them.

My Greek Fishing Boat is nearing completion, still some detail to be added but bath trials went fine.

Just joined up and new to large boat modelling.
I have been given a part completed and long neglected Mount Fleet Ben Ain kit.

Whoever built it has stored it in a garage or attic for many years and it's suffered some damage to details, and whoever did it hasn't used the kit superstructure or deck.
I am going to take it right back to the deck and start again.
All the small detail parts are present but I have a 3d resin printer so can make any I need or want to improve.
No plans though so busy gathering reference material.
It does have a full set of radio control gear with it and fitted though.

Can't post pictures yet.

I am building an Arun Lifeboat with Mountfleet hull and superstructure, seem to be doing more filling as the gel coat keeps cracking and coming away, not made like they used to be that’s for sure.

A couple of side-projects have all merged into a project to 3D model Naval Guns from the 1850s through the 1870s.Here's the guns I've modeled so far...

Some have even been printed in various scales...

I've posted the STLs on Thingiverse for anyone interested

Mountfleet Models Osprey armed trawler - I enjoyed building the Highlander so thought I'd try another of their offerings.  Arrived promptly but the carriers managed to torpedo it with what looks like a forklift leaving 2 holes in the hull  <*< .  Sent photos to Adam at Mountfleet so just waiting for the replacement hull to arrive, hopefully in one piece.Bag
