getting close to taking moulds from the plugs I've been working on for my new 51' "Stromness" Barnett class lifeboat, RNLB Mary Stanford.
The hull was/is plank on frame with filler, and the cockpits are from Obeche'. A lovely carving and sanding timber that makes excellent plugs for moulding from.

In between working on U-33 and researching U-441 (U-Flak 1) I did manage to get the sail of the USS Blueback finished, just needs some paint on it now.

(one day I'll learn how to take a decent pic)

Not actually building this one yet, but JUST returned from collecting my winter project from the delivery company's depot, a pleasingly heavy box of goodies containing a Model Slipway Tsekoa. Still in the process of unpacking it, after which it will be replaced in the box as our house move is happening sooner than expected, in fact we are going next week, a mere 5 weeks after first setting eyes on the new place and thinking 'hmm, that looks nice'!

Currently RE-building Joffre. Built it originally in 1988 for my dear old Dad's birthday, it's got into a bit of a state over the years and it has a lot of sentimental value as the old fella "kicked it" 17 years ago.
Am building it in it's 1950's post refit state just to make it a bit different to the many examples around, only the hull & fittings used from the original kit, the rest is scratchbuilt

I've just started building Mountfleets Admiralty coaster C.642 (but in the civilian colours called Clanity.) Unfortunately it's not mine,
it's another commission build at least i'll get to take her out on her maiden voyage.

Two Springers on the go at the same time... Its the law to build more than one.

I finish one project before starting the next one... but it doesnt stop me from thinking of the next builds..

The TTD list..

A twin Voith powered scale tug
A barge
A Mini Springer
A Sun XXVI based on a Metcalf Hull
A 60's Speedboat (Cabin Cruiser)
A fast Tug
A round nosed hydro

.. and the list grows...
