And the company told be you can change the crystals so that is all good , also I am going to add nav lights around it too.

Looks quite good to me, but never seen one in the flesh, so to speak. The radio range may be limited, rtr stuff often is.

Check what the frequency of the radio gear is, it must be either 27mhz, 40mhz or (v unlikley, 2.4ghz). It shouldn't be 35mhz - this is reserved for planes only - forgive me if you already knew this.

Double check that changing the frequency chips is possible.

Yes some RTR items have the frequency out of the 27 range allocated to us.

A crystal inspection is a must.

Looks good nice boat.

  ;)HI
I have one of these boats and they are very good, there is no problem with changing the crystals and it has a good range and performs well on the water.

A couple of our club members have Thunder Tigers and they seem like great little boats with no problems to speak of. O0

Will I need to buy freq crystals for the transmitter , or will any 27mhz crystal fit in the boat and transmitter?  O0

You'll need a set . To put the (Tx)  transmitter and the (RX) receiver on the same frequencies

The frequencies are colour coded on the label of both crystals and the frequency should be printed there to.

You also can get split channels between the above.
