Programming away here in Flash CS3 - in between visits to MBM, of course. Planet Rock, on my digi radio, is playing The Great Gig in the Sky. (lump in throat) Time to turn it up to eleven!

The CD in the car at the minute is David Gilmore's "On an Island" that Rick played on, my wife has taken a fancy to the album and asked to hear some of my Pink Floyd collection.

The best concert I have been to was the Division Bell at Earl's Court.

Good memories, For the rest who my have never had the chance to hear the man in action here is a link http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Enwnt7-j90k

I was lucky enough to see Floyd on the Dark Side of the Moon tour in 1973. It was surreal!

He will live on for all eternity in the brilliant music that he and the guys created for all to hear.
Long may his talent brighten up  those hallowed halls.
RIP, Rick. :'(

... reminds me on my youth as well. My first record ever bought was The dark side of the moon.

When read this I put in "Time".

"... the sun is the same, in a relative way. But you`re older. Shorter of breath and one day closer to death. Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time...."

Words of wisdom, gentlemen. Time to pick up again tonite with a glass of red wine and to remember that we are "one day closer to death" as well. As you know- we are just..... "Another brick in the wall".....
