Steve Neill Blueback kit

This is a 1/72nd scale kit of the US Barbel class conventionally powered subs...it's not an easy kit to assemble by any means, but with the patience (and in my case, a lot of help from Steve and Ramesh ((Mankster)) it will make up into a terrific semi scale model of the class.

The kit comes as six ABS plastic mouldings for the hull, a resin sail, cast resin dive vanes and rudders, cast resin internal bulkheads, a white metal five bladed prop, photo CD and that's about it. There several build posts on the SubPirates.com and SubCommittee websites to assist the builder.

No ballast system is supplied with the kit, and you will have to make or buy the WTC. These are available from Big Dave on either of the websites mentioned.

36" long x 4" beam.
