Hi All,

Off to Canada next week, starting with three days in Vancouver. It's a pretty full program - we're going with Send A Granny Abroad - but if I get any time to myself, is there anything worth looking out for in the nautical history line? I'm sure there must be. After Vancouver we go by train across to Calgary.

Thanks

Rick

Have a great time...

The RoyaL museum of BC in Victoria is very good as well as the Naval Maritime Museum at CFB Esquimalt, Both in Victoria. A word to the wise, don't feed the bears, they have a preference for English food {-) {-) {-)

Drop in to Burnaby Hobbies on Rumble Street and say hello to the guys - great supporters of the Burnaby Boat Club.
A walk along the pier at New West - you'll catch a variety of boats.
Steveston has an interesting marine history as well.
Tough to catch all in a short time - our weather seems to be just changing to fall temperatures.
Enjoy the trip!

Thanks guys. Good suggestions, despite the beginnings of an International Incident!
