hi all found this web site. Its all about the ferry FINNJET. I have never seen such a good  :D web site dedicated to one ship. Some of the photos are awesome O0 ,and if some one wanted to make finnjet this would be the best tool in the world. As there are photos of every thing at so many diffrent angles.

yep there very sad :(. As she was so much more that a ferry. She was the longest , the biggest , the fastest ferry in the world at her lanch ,she was the first to use gas turbines and introduced ferry crusing  :). She was a world leader and derserved to be preserved but it sad that its not to be. It just goes to show how hard it is to preserve a big ship. QE2 is a very very lucky lady to get what she coming to her in her reteriment. You cant help thinging with scrap at an all time high what might happen to the ss united states.

She was ever a spectacular sight charging up and down the Baltic on her turbines with a 'bone' in her teeth the height of the bow apron ! We used to be trundling up to Finland at 12/13 Kts and she would pass us twice from Travemund/Helsinki before we got there !. On a calm day she would leave us rolling in her wash and now to see her high and dry at the bone pickers - very sad

I have been working for her more than 20 years, landside cargobooking etc., I know that ship very well from the bottom to the top. For me it's very sad to see her now at Alang. :'( :'( :'( :'(

now we run socalled Kombifähren with more than 4000 lanemeters at a speed of 27 knots and space for 400 pax. Finnjet would have been laughing about this speed.
