OMRA race at Glossop - Photos

Photos taken taken by Sally, not many though, as she was either starting Robin's boats, or trying to beat me up...

Anyone else have any photos?

Hi David
It was at Glossop Sailing Club, east of Glossop, just off the A628. Have a look at
http://www.omra-uk.org/venue_glossop.html

Lovely venue, very picturesque, lots of .... er ..... rocks  O0

Oh yes, and some extremely hungry midges  >:(

Where was it?? Torside lake. By the sailing center.  This was the first time OMRA had used this lake, Due to problems with 2 other lakes. Mark was able to get the use of the lake so we could carry on with a race meeting at very short notice. WELL DONE MARK.  What a lovely place to race.

Hi All,

Visited Glossop on Sunday to spectate my first OMRA race, and enjoyed it completely.
It was really good to meet some of the competitors who gave me some good advice on getting my recently acquired boat sorted.
Got some photo's but cannot seem to upload on here?!
Got the bit between my teeth now, and ordered the last parts to get the boat finished ready for trials.

I lived in Hayfield, just south of Glossop, for years - there's some fantastic reservoirs all around the area, but I hadn't seen this one. (I first thought it was the water next to the Glossop side of the Snake Pass). Learn something new everyday!
