Torbay's answer to the crawl from Brixham to Torquay. It is only on trial til the end of the week. Had to pick up a  new car over in Torquay, so I left the box of chocolates and took the trip across, a tad rough out I might add.

Some of you from the Southhampton area may recognize her.

Yes, one of the Red Funnel Ferries Southampton to Cowes Red Jets on temporary loan. Somebody else mentioned that the crossing was a bit bumpy. Torbay is relatively sheltered but not as much as the waters in which she normally operates. I'm told that the embarkation arrangements at the Torbay end are a bit precarious too Could put people off I think. Quicker than driving though!

Your right Colin. Disembarking on the Torquay side is very unfriendly for those with disabilities or seniors. However, if it is to be instituted permanently, I would imagine they would need to meet this requirement for health and safety reasons.
Good fun though and gives a whole new view of the bay for us landlubbers who only own model boats.

Hi Capt

Well they told me yesterday the trial period is up on the 27th of Sept, so that gave us a one month run.
Hows your boat's mast after that windy day in Paignton. When I got home, I discovered a piece of my mast had snapped of as well, never found it so have to rebuild it, not as major as yours though.
