Went with family and friends to the Goodwood Revival meeting on Sunday. This was my first visit to the circuit since its revival, though I had been to the Festival of Speed hillclimb event several times. What an event! Real racing by cars that looked like racing cars, warbird displays, and sideshows. And... 115,000 people all smartly turned out, and not a single F-word heard all day. Pretty unusual in Britain these days, and quite unlike, say, Ascot.
Not cheap, though probably less than a GP, but I'd recommend it to anyone.
