Can you identify this plane?

Hi everyone,

This is a photo of a float plane taken atOban during the early 1940s by my father. However, unusually for him he cannot remember what type it is. A google session has not given me any ideas. Can one of our knowledgeable Mayhemmers give me a steer or even an answer.

In case anybody is interested, further surfing has revealed that the aircraft is most likely to be a Blackburn Shark Mk IIA or III.

I found it after a bit of lateral thinking. Dad was in the RAF so... I looked on the Fleet Air Arm site  :-\
