Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce to you all....the USS Dragonfish(aka, the Guppy that never was)
It's based on a Revell Gato kit and altered to be my interpretation of what the Dragonfish would have looked like if it was concieved...which it wasn't.
Construction is coming along at a steady pace, the WTC tube arrived today, so that's next on the agenda, but for now...a sneak preview. The sail is almost completed, and was scratchbuilt from plastic card, brass/alloy tube and bits from my previous (abandoned) Gato kit. The rear dive vanes and rudders are done, just awaiting the arrival of the propshafts and props.
I will post some better/clearer pics up tomorrow when there is more daylight and my new batteries are charged up in my digicam thingy.
