Hello!
One day , somewhere , I found a poster of a long boat sailing with passengers on board.
I cannot find this photo anymore , but I remember that it was a « steam bus » going up & down on the Thames.
I managed to draw something out of it and I decided to build something approaching the shape of the hull.
The final weight of the boat is 2.8 Kg for 130 cm long by 14 cm wide.
The steam set is an earlier 2cc oscillating ANTON
The GHIBLI as I named her, is fast enough now that I screwed the right propeller but I have to be very careful not to hit the smallest wave.
Athough I unbalanced her and put more weight more on the stern for the sailing.
I still have to work out the details. As I use to say :
-« I’ll see that later on ! » and later last a long time !
The GHIBLI is a sand wind named as so in the Lybian desert!
Hope you like it.
Have a good day!
