hms kincardine from boat comic plans
« on: October 11, 2008, 05:32:59 pm »

as i slowly work on my pt boat i decided to build the hms kincardine from marine modelling international magazine free plans today.

using 1mm ply the hull went together nicely the superstructure is a bit more time consuming as i am using styrene sheet.
i built this just so i can have a vessel on the water for a play.

now i have bored you all, if any of you have built it or can gauge sizes, what scale little people can i place on it. and are the budget 30-40 quid radio sets ok to start me off on the wonderful world of boating

cheers

A 2 chanel set for £30-40 will do nicely to start. That will give you forward/reverse and left/right. You wil also need a speed controller. I find the Mtroniks ones very good.
