I have played in bands off and on for the past 30 or so years, mainly bass guitar or synthesisers. I'm currently 'resting' although I did do a charity gig recently playing 20+ songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s with some friends. The link is to a 'video' that was made by a member of my online gaming clan. I did the music soundtrack for it (although I did pinch the tune from a certain Mr S.Miller). It's a bit scrappy and VERY basic, but was my first attempt at recording.

Allthough I cannot get into jazz (not for lack of trying) and am not keen on sung opera or most of the 'modern' hip-hop sort of stuff.
I loved your comment on Myspace about music keeping you sane - it's exactly the same for me. I seem to have some tune or other going through my head all of the time
