Cool pictures! Boy the guy on the back of your boat must have strong grip and one fine pair of deck shoes! He does even lean.
What kind of boat is that? Is it a RTR?

Thanks

Via email to Mayhem...

Hi Model Boat Mayhem,

See attached a couple of pictures of my latest r/c sailing square-rigger, the "Anne B", based on "Penang". I hope you enjoy.

I'm a member of the Sheffield Ship Model Society, and the boat is pictured on the pond at Millhouses Park in Sheffield.

There are some really great pictures posted on this thread!  I am adding a few favorites. Hope you like them.  The location is in Southern Ca. on golf course in the high desert. The course has 25 lakes, of which we can sail on about 5 of them without getting hit by golf balls. The pictures were taken on Mirror Lake, my favorite to sail on becasue of the beautiful setting. The first two pictures were taken in the AM with little or now wind making picture taking pretty easy, the last was taken later in the day with a nice breeze.

Sci_sailor,
I have not seen a "Mini Monsoo" before. Is it made by the same manufacturer? Like to see some pictures of it out of the water, perhaps a little closer to see the details of the boat.
Very interesting!
Thank you

Hi Wind. It's a modification of a Zipang rc toy yacht bought online from play-asia.com.  Thought the slim hull resembles that of the Monsoon so I hand painted the hull using red, black and silver paint markers !! Will PM you a link containing some details as I dont want to go OT here. Thanks for the interest.

Well nobody said this thread is only for model yachts so I have included two of my favourites.
The first is myeself, wife and friend running south from the Farne Islands back to harbour.
The second is SWMBO (better known as Sheila) rounding Cape Spartivento(Italy) and heading for
Turkey on a yacht delivery trip in November.  She wouldn't have been smiling if she had known what
we were heading into weatherwise.
Sorry qualitiy isnt perfect but they are photos of photos (scanner problems)

Hi Windchaser,

my "RECORD" ist no RTR model, but a scratch built model. Bese was a Graupner AAC and some pics from the originally boat, built by well known Fabio Buzzi, Italy.
