You could, but why would you want too?
I`ve built a few models based on vac form hulls and its amazing how much a nice basla framework and a couple of bulkheads strenghen them up :-))

Depending on how light the hull is,you could end up distorting it by the heat generated by the curing resin or even fixing any inaccuracies or twists into the hull permanently
Just my opinion ;)

I think a few people have tried a fibreglass matting but you have to watch out for the hear it generate when curing and
may find that you have to glue it on with PVA afterwards anyway. As BigBri says you may have to make up an internal
keel and bullheads from wood or plastic. Test your glues thoroughly first!

Thank you Big Bri & Martin,
Think I,ll just keep to the plastic  bulkheads seams a lot safer.

Don't risk it - polyester resin will probably dissolve the plastic of the hull.

You could use an epoxy resin, but it's much more expensive.  Better to go with styrene or Sintra bulkheads.

And for your plastic bulkheads you could use the corrugated type used for the estate agent "For Sale" signs. Lightweight and rigid.
