Oh...so it was you who won it!...ahhh...out of all the people on ebay it had to be you! >:( ;) Stavros 1-Voyager0 Just purchased the Robbe Dolly which will be made into a fire boat rather than the harbour launch.

Did not know the Graupner fire boat had a wooden deck, should be an eye catcher when it's all finished!

well lads been creating havoc as usual in the shed so here goes
19 Home made stbd Lt made up of brass tube soldered onto brass angle
20 Led Lt showing my boo boo slipped with dremmel Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
21 Blue light on these are 3mm flashing LEDs from maplins quite good and pretty near to scale
22 Showing the St-db Lt and flashing Blue LED's
23 Batt box assembled and installed to take 6v 4amp Batt
24 Showing batt box in hull and pump pipework and the receiver areal running around the hull

It has now been decided due to the lack of space that the Blue flashing lights and the siren will only come on when the pump is being used and that the nav Lt's will have to be switched thats all for now.

MFA bought from Pandan models http://www.pandanmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/sitemap.html they were cheaper than anyone and much cheaper than MFA direct, tried the pump out the other night through bathroom window approx throw 6+m so the lads at our lake had better watch out!!!!

Haye...that's lookin alright! Looks fast just sitting there...if that makes sense? Check out bow wave on the net, they do some cheap silicone type rubber fenders, would look good on your model. Let me know if you would like the link.

Well cancel my previous post of no room for 4 th servo >Got bored this afternoon so went to Llandudno armed with fire boat to test in private ;)on the lake in west Shore, going along nicely or should I say more akin to a speedy boat!!!! Quick isn't the word, but after all it is a fast response vessel!.Disaster lost all drive bloomin uj broke so sat down and waited for it to drift back to shore,so off I went to maplins to get another, just as I was getting to the car a gentelman admired the Fire Boat and commented oh Maplins sell a sound generator for around £5 as you guessed I had to have one.back to the shed for the next couple of hours to meditate and create. It probably took me 1/2 hr to solder it all together and it is very good, only prob was that the motor has a tendency to drown the siren out,so it was plan B that was the answer, mount a speaker on top of the cabin disguised as a locker, drill holes in locker to allow sound out.Yes I know I will have to cover hooes up when it rains!!.I will post some piccies of it on the water sun evening as I forgot my camera .
31 Showing 4th servo and switch.
32 Sound generator module
33 Speaker box/locker
34 Showing locker on roof from the bow
