Graupner speed 600 7.2V
« on: September 07, 2006, 07:30:54 pm »

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the speed 600 and the 600 ECO motors. I have a pair of speed 600 7.2v which I would like to run on 8.4v will this be OK.

The speed 600 7.2v are rated at 3.6 - 8.4v . The speed 600 Eco are rated at 6.0v - 9.6v The 600 Eco's are also far less thirstier on current according to the specs.

Hope this helps

i think eco,s are for scale speed ,cruising and the speed!!600,s are for speed!!.8.4 would be ok .most motors can handle upto 12 volts from what ive read.

Check this out for twin Speed 600 ECO motors on 8.4volts - and that boat is three feet long!
