Here is another fitting for the wheel house. The plans do not show a voice tube to the engine room but I am pretty sure there was one. Here is the one I came up with.

Finally the last of the fittings. The shackle is made from brass tubing which is bent and the ends flattened and drilled. The only thing left to do is the frame work for the canvas dodger and awning as I want to start with the open wheelhouse. I may do a closed in conversion later.

Hi all,
I have been fairly busy the past few months. I had some renovating around the house, a new bathroom and a laundry room. Also took my wife down to Florida to soak up some sun. Just got back last week and the weather is good enough to do some painting outside. I stripped down the TID superstructure and primed all the parts as you can see from the photos. What a pile of parts. Next I will do the final colour and put all the parts on for the final assembly. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

HI all, Thanks for the complements. It is nice to see this project comming to a close and the TID has been an enjoyable build. I hope to have it compleat for the Kitchener show in a couple of weeks and I will take some photos of the compleated TID and will post them. And Robert the ice has been out for quite a wile and the weather has been great and we are reserving a spot on the dock for you any time you are in the area. Thinking about the next project, Any suggestions?

Hi again,
Here are a few more photos of the nearly compleated TID. And ANDO as far as tools in my shop there is quite assortment of hand tools. I also have acquired over a period of time a small drill press, scroll saw, band saw, sanding disc and a combination lathe and mill.

Here are a few more photos as I just finished installing the canvis dodger around the wheelhouse and now I have all the lights working.
More to come as I should be compleat by the end of the week.

Hi all Mayhem members,
Thank you all for your intrest in my TID build. And Martin sorry for any controversy and thank you for considering the TID build for the Master Class. Feel to use the thread and edit it as you please. I will post photos of the finished TID in the water with in the next couple of weeks if not sooner. Here are a few detail photos of the TID.

Hi Greg,
I took your observations and gave him a bit of growth and dirty up the coveralls. Now he looks the part. Thanks

Hi All,
Here are a few photos of the finished TID in the water. Martin you can take your pick and move them to the build tread. I have a new build which I plan to start in the fall and will start a new tread with the new build. Taking a brake now and enjoying some summer running.

Not quite sure what's happened here but a lot of the photos seem AWAL!

I'll re-upload them..... but as Eric Morecambe said:  'They are the right photographs  but not necessarily be in the right order!'  :-)
