I was on her for a week as the engineer.
Her replacement is being planned now.

When I was talking to the Offshore Commander of the group, he was talking of taking the mast and rigging out of the Royalist to use on her replacement to save money. Then if he is allowed he would like to scuttle her at sea. But the Sea Cadets are a charity and charities are required by law to dispose of unwanted assets to the highest bidder, the sale of the old Arethusa/Flying Peking being an example. But she is very old and quite thin in places.
