Which type of modelboats are you in?
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:18:09 am »

As I look over all the sections here, which had grown permanently since the very beginning..., it has become a rich diversity of the various types. And nearly every type with an own section. But I tink it might be out of interest (not even for me) to know where are the major-interests in?
So take a time and vote what are you in? What is your major interest in modelboating?
You have 2 votes and 30 days. I look very much forward to your interests....

No matter what you are in- Happy modeling to everyone!

Jorg,

Why the restriction to two categories?
When the true answer is 'all the above'!

Jorg,

It is ok, I now understand the reasoning behind the question.

Can we put the confusion down to 'a senior moment'? {:-{
The real trouble is that these moments are getting more frequent, and are longer lasting each time.

Thanks to the Alzheimer.... I was sure I´ve forgotten one....- or more!

Colin- ashes on my head... %)

Take the merchantman to the Working vessels... (or does somebody wants to claim that nobody is ... Working on these vessels?

@Peter.... I think two is reasonable, as we use to bring a toast on "wifes and lovers"... which doesn`t mean you have more than two choices too... hrmmhrmmm..... %)

So tugs arn't working boats?
I voted working boats and got the first four sections for the price of one.
yachts and sport got the other vote, thus covering about every thing else.

Ian, the reason for this split-up was, that I wanted to seperate between "Working vessels" and Tugs, as the description "Working vessels" could be Tug, Anchor-puller, Offshore-Supply, Fishery-patrol....
But I assumed that most are in tugs... and it looks like I was right... (don`t ask my lady, she`ll tell something different either)...  {-)

So it is interesting to see the differences between the German and the British/European/American/Australian/ anybody-else-I-don`t-want-to-forget-scene...

I`ll give a clue when the poll is over.

Regards,

Tom, just an example: If you look over the Victorian battleships, they had nuffink in common with a "Grey Fleet".... but had been countered under it. So, don`t take it too serious....   :D
