The Captains Log, the building of 'The Impervious'

Sorry to all interested, but I have removed the build as having problems resizing all the photos! (rather spend the time working on the boat than bashing away at the keyboard! ::))

Work will go on and she will be finished quite soon, so will post a pic (large) when she is complete and on the water.

Thankyou to all for your kind encouragement and advice :D

Hi FlyBobby

That was a bit drastic, removing the whole thread  :'(
But I understand you reasoning..

your build was seeing a good bit of interest from members, Sorry  we can no longer see it.

May I suggest ?

if you do have them stored elswhere, enter the web link, into your posts so we can click and have a looksee. ( maybe a solution ?)

Needless to say, if you want help , just ask !

Regards

I will sort out a link for that, will put them in an album in photobucket.

I know it seems a bit drastic and I am annoyed with myself, but figured the time to move the photos, resize them, delete the large ones and replace them all  would have run into hours (given the fact I didnt know how to do all that! ::))

Thanks again for your help

In stead of reducing the quality of the pic reduce the size, that way when opened they still look great..

Gavin

You need to re-size the original photos.. that will then simply  reduce the size not the quality..

If you try to re-size an "already small re-sized" photo.. then quality WILL suffer..

You don't want that.. :'(

If you like.. send me via PM an original pic.. I shall resize it and send it back to you.. and you can see what I mean .

If you cant do this... PM me. and I'll send you my email addy and we can do it direct

Help on tap ! ( no Beer though)

Steve ;D

I think I have figured it out, as this pic should show!? ::)

Anyhow, superstructure has had its top coats, and I have started to add the detail.  Shouldnt be long now before she hits the wet stuff! ::)
