Amqazing models from a MIG welder and Angle grinder
« on: November 09, 2008, 03:37:37 pm »

This is another guy who makes me want to stop and sell all my tools and toys! granted most not ship related but we did have a thread on big trucks and tractors. In his ship photo set he does mention a strange looking tug (springer) so if he does one of those I will keep checking back to his site.

The lake freighter is, what would be called a water line I guess.
Here is a site, for some  amazing models built with a MIG welder and gauge sheet steel. along with an amazing body of work. Claims most are made from only a few pictures, and books. never having seen most of them. Still very impressive even if he had the erecting drawings.
I'm giving links to his to ships related photo sets.
lake model and ships
and the second his trip on a laker
Trip

You should also check out some of his other photosets and the set of his small shop!.
enjoy
