Could this be a new rain gauge???

The wife and I went to Plymouth for a day, walked round West Hoe and saw this poor little boat almost a wash. Thought it might be the BBC’s new rain fall gauge. Sonic. ok2

Utter neglect,you pay a few hundred quid for a boat/motor/bits,then forget about it  :((

Probably only a few days worth of rain in that boat - it was very wet last week.
