« on: November 21, 2008, 01:20:20 PM »

:-)) As it looks as if we are going to get snowed in shortly here are two winter warmers Traditionally used by seamen

1] Hot Buttered Rum [Surved in a mug if you use a glass remember to leave a spoon in it or the glass might break
ADD
1 large tot Dark rum   2 Large tots boiling water  1 pat Butter [Not Magarenge} stire until butter dissappers then add 3 cloves [some people might like to add a spoon of brown sugar or a pinch of ciinnamon] [or both} allow to stand for 1 min. or two  {drink while hot]

2] Bridge Warmer
To a cup of hot Bovral or Oxo [Beef Tea] add 2 [two]  glasses of Sherry [sherry glasses fool, not tumblers] Drink while hot Don't drive

They sound very good  :-)) but my preferred winter warmer is an extra large Laphroaig, closely followed by another one
