We used CA(superglue) to attach the railings on the Manson crane barge...
It works well, but unless the connection at the stantions is drilled and set, the
connection is tenuous at best. Good adhesion, but brittle.
I can't tell you how many times I knocked a railing loose trying to get in and rig the crane. >>:-(

CA glue will work fine, but can be brittle on small areas, use Flexy Cyano (rubber toughened cyano, usualy black, but we do black and clear Flexy cyano and Clear`N`Tuf)  ,impact toughened flexy ca will work fine

Is there a glue like CA but with a longer working time? Ferinstence, I've put hatches down on a deck and you only get one go at putting a superglued item on a porous surface, so once it's on (wrong) it's impossible to move as either it'll pull the planks with it of leave a residue/mark behind.

Yet CA is a great glue, it doesn't need mixing a la epoxy and glues most surfaces known to man.
