Hi Gentlemen,
my "Amsterdam" is almost finished and I want to show you some pictures. I just learned that this tug was originally built in Hamburg in 1971 and sailed under the name "Hamburg" for three years before she was sold to "Wijsmuller" in Holland.

Hi Oldiron,
and thanks for your comment. I noticed your post after I had painted the deck otherwise I would have used the original color scheme like you did. By the way, your boat looks great!!!
I use a Robbie 12V gear motor (EF 76 II) and a four bladed 60mm brass prop. It will be equipped with lights, rotating radar screens and a ram sound module (horn # 82). The battery is a hugh 12V 17Ah mounted close to the bottom. This will help with the ballast, but it still needs more weight towards the stern. When it is finished I will post a few pictures also from inside the hull. Do you know of anything else I should take into consideration or do you have additional information from Wijsmuller? Oh, I replaced all the copper wire with steel guitar wire, so everything is nice and straight.
