Cutty Sark

Greetings,

I was wondering if someone could give me an update on the Cutty Sark after the fire? Living in Portland we don't get much news about her. Are they ever going to sail her again?

Good question!
I doubt if they will be getting her sea worthy again, as she has been in dry docks as long as I can remember, as a museum.
I worked, many years ago for the P&I that insured her, Might even have a copy of her insurance certificate somewhere!

I'm off to see what google throws up!

Much of the Cutty Sark material including deckhouses, masts and fittings was stored at Chatham Dockyard at the time of the fire, seen here last April.
